Electrical / Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid

Job Summary AECOM is seeking engineers with 6+ years of experience in applying Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principals to support analysis and process support for legacy and emerging spectrum dependent technologies. Position requires understanding of a wide variety of spectrum dependent systems including radars, communications, data links, and SATCOM. Responsibilities will include technical review of emerging spectrum technologies, coordination and deconfliction of Navy operations in dense electromagnetic environments, development and review of policies and procedures, and finally coordination both nationally and internationally. Essential Responsibilities:  Review and submit Spectrum certification documentation  Support the MidLANT AFC in a wide variety of spectrum engineering forums Participate in AWS-3 related discussions Review spectrum reallocation analysis and develop positions of impact to PAX NAS systems Minimum Requirements Possess an engineering degree from an accredited university or college 6+ years' experience with applying the principles of the performance of the Radio Frequency Engineering analysis Requires Secret clearance; Preferred: TS (SCI eligible Must be US Citizen  Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the either the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) or the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) system certification process Knowledge of any of the following softwares: Spectrum Certification System (SCS), Equipment Location Certification Information database (EL-CID), Spectrum XXI, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO), or Stepstone Experience with Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment or standards World Radio Conference Support Development of Spectrum related standards and policies What We Offer AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
