Senior Logistics Analyst

Functional Description: Provides guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft weapon systems, training, or SE programs. Conducts logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses, and provides recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs. Provides recommendations for changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data packaging, handling storage and transportation, and facilities. Provides recommendations for the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans. Provides recommendations for the review and development of Maintenance Plans/Logistics Support Analysis (MPILSA) records, maintenance tasks and Level of Repair Ana lysis (LORA) recommendations. Routine Tasking: Review and provide comments on ATC Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) as required. Prepare Decision Memorandums (DM) for ATC ECPs and deliver them to and support Configuration Review Boards (CRB). Support the Decentralized Configuration Control Boards (DCCB) where ATC ECPs are being reviewed. Prepare new and update old Program Support Documents (PSD) using the PSD Automated Reporting and Tracking System (PARTS). Update Form 15 spares lists as required. Support the Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM) process by updating required documents as needed by OPNAV. Prepare minutes for the annual Program Sustainment Review (PSR) and other meetings as required. Qualifications Requirements Education: BS or BA degree. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience way be substituted for a BS or BA degree. Experience: At least ten 10) years' experience in Acquisition Logistics. Competent in Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems. Ideal Candidate will have: Experience with Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems. Life Cycle Costing experience desired. Experience supervising and directing logistics analysts in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of ILS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition Command or supporting an acquisition command. Knowledge of Program Support Documents (PSD) and how to use PSD Automated Reporting and Tracking System (PARTS). Knowledge of the Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAMs) process. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
