ABOUT THIS POSITION

Maintain the program s corporate Quality Management System (QMS) manual for program execution and NAVSEA Alteration Installation Team (AIT) approval. Develop or modify work instructions and quality procedures. Monitor SHIPMAIN for installation schedules, milestone dates, and changes. Prepare and lead for ISO and CMMI certifications. Perform quality inspections on incoming material, prototype development, depot repairables, systems, subsystems and assemblies.

Performs analyses/audits to ensure compliance with contract, corporate and customer requirements and specifications through analysis and/or audits for processes in engineering, software, operations, documentation, training, configuration management, reliability and maintainability, maintenance, facilities, services, and other processes as may be defined.

Performs analyses/audits of work performed against a specific process.

Reviews processes that indicate how activities are performed in operations, engineering, documentation, maintenance, facilities, and training.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Works under general supervision to resolve routine problems or tasks that are generally well defined but are not always repetitive.

Focus is on non-routine tasks, projects or processes where external customer interface may be required and that is designed to provide experience and familiarization with the quality system.

Maintain program s AIT acceptance

Obtain ISO and CMMI certifications

Has experience and understands NAVSEA AIT processes and basic quality system procedures. Able to work on more than one task at a time. Ability to understand technical documents that describe the system and processes. Ability to work with other personnel as a team member. Will have customer interface. Ability to understand policies, procedures and processes.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

BS Degree and 2 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, 10 years of quality control experience involving military C5ISR systems is required. This experience shall involve various aspects of quality including but not limited to: product workmanship, receiving, shipping, packaging and purchasing, depot support, fleet support, software, engineering products such as drawings; and storage.

Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
