Cyber-Electronic Warfare Integration Engineer (Systems Engineering, Senior Associate)

SummaryThe MIL Corporation is seeking a Cyber-Electronic Warfare Integration Engineer (Systems Engineering, Senior Associate) to support a Department of Defense client from our Patuxent River, MD location.
This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site.
Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
ResponsibilitiesProvide weapon systems acquisition with focus in systems engineering and Cyber-Electronic Warfare (EW) support to MIL s DoD customer.
Support the research, development, acquisition, test and evaluation, fielding, upgrades, and sustainment of Cyber-Electronic Warfare (EW) convergent capabilities and risk/benefit assessment methodologies.
Contribute technical leadership identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems.
Guide the engineering development of modern complex Cyber-EW systems; and employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems.
Perform analysis and trade-off studies for candidate solution technologies and capabilities.
Coordinate with associated programs/labs/sites as directed by MIL s DoD customer.
Provide technical and engineering analysis of contractors proposals.
Contribute to the development of requirement specifications for upgraded and new Cyber-EW systems.
Ability to support the Government Customer at briefings, including Flag level.
TravelTotal travel is expected to be less than 10% to CONUS, and occasionally to OCONUS, sites.
Required Qualifications10 or more years of experience in Electronic Warfare design and development, specifically including Naval Aviation.
Extensive knowledge of DoD Weapon Systems Acquisition Life Cycle and requirements formulation.
This experience must include in-depth knowledge of designing, operating, and maintaining aircraft avionics, RADARs, electronic intelligence sensors, electro-optical and IR systems design, development, and operations.
Candidate must have extensive knowledge of a range of Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) used by ISR aircraft.
6 or more years as a Lead Systems Engineer in technically similar top-tier company involved with aviation, avionics, and weapons systems.
Hands-on avionics technical experience as a previous member of the US Navy, ideally as an Avionics Technician responsible for airborne sensor operation.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and provide technical support to end-users.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
Desired QualificationsThe ability to see the interconnection between Cyber and EW, develop actionable insights for MIL s DoD customer(s), and contribute to the advancement of the state-of-the-art.
Excellent chemistry with colleagues, strong team collaboration skills.
EducationBachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college.
Master s degree in Systems Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (or 4 years of experience substitution, in addition to the 10
years experience requirement).

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations.
For this position, the projected compensation range is $150,000 - $210,000 per year.
This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL s complete compensation package.
