Summary:
Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL) provides flight test engineering, programmatic, and administrative support to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and is the cognizant authority for Test and Evaluation (T&E) with participation in all phases of the air weapon systems life cycle management for manned and unmanned fixed wing, rotary wing, aerial and lighter-than-air vehicles.
This position provides access control and security of the flight line and hangars.
Education and
Experience:
HS Degree or GED equivalentEssential Duties:
Control access to the hangars, monitor the flight line and entries to the hangars via camera systems and physical inspection in compliance with Air Force Instruction AFI 31-101, OPNAV INST 5530.
14E, OPNAVINST 5530.
13D, and ICS 705-1.
Provide roving assessment support throughout various squadron compound areas including the unprotected water access at Squadron Hangars.
Roving access control support is also required for both AA&E storage and sensitive program space certification.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a medium- to high-stress environment.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
