eLearning Developer - REMOTE
OverviewAVIAN is seeking a motivated and creative eLearning Developer- Remote to be part of our dynamic Training, Multimedia and Consulting team.
You will join a highly-talented cadre of storytellers and sought-after subject matter experts to create innovative eLearning solutions and reimagine existing courseware for digital delivery.
Our ideal eLearning Developer - Remote will use technical expertise in online course design, interactive simulation, virtual representation, video and other training platforms is a must.
ResponsibilitiesOur eLearning Developer will create engaging interactive eLearning modules to include:
Visualize graphics, the user interface and the finished produceCoordinate with subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needsDevelop compelling course content and captivating learning activitiesApply proven instructional design theories, practice and methodsDevelop exercises and activities that enhance the learning processCreate supporting material/media (audio, video, animations, simulations, role plays, games etc.

years of corporate instructional design experienceExpertise in scripting, designing and developing courseware with eLearning authoring tools and multimedia production software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After EffectsKnowledge of adult learning principles and strong understanding of how learners consume informationAbility to translate complex technical information into easily understood text and graphicsExperience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneouslyExceptional organizational and analytical skills; strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal, writing and communication skillsExperience creating products for federal government or DOD is preferredAbility to obtain secret clearance is a plusEducation:
Our eLearning Developer position requires a Bachelor's degree in instructional design, business, marketing, communications, graphic design or equivalent experienceApplications must include a link to a portfolio of recent and relevant work.
Applications without portfolios will not be considered.
Our entire AVIAN workforce is required to comply with the Executive Order 14042 requiring employees to be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 no later than 8 December 2021.
An employee will be considered fully vaccinated when at least two (2) weeks have elapsed after the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 series or at lease (2) weeks have elapsed after a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine.
